Humberside Nappy manufacturer chooses Atlanta’s “tall pallet wrapping” system for maximum shipping efficiency

A major nappy manufacturer in the North East of England has installed 5 fully automated packaging lines. Each line will include an Atlanta Revolution rotary arm pallet stretch wrapper close coupled to a robot palletising system. The full supply includes a pallet handling conveyor system and a double pallet stacking device.

Each pallet load will be 1500 mm high and when required, two pallets can be loaded on top of each other for twin wrapping within the stretch wrapper. In this manner, the pallet buffering is maximised whilst the supply chain can choose single or double height pallets for shipping and warehousing. The ability to choose single or double height pallets was an important factor in the purchasing decision and made Atlanta’s solution particularly attractive.

Atlanta UK are delighted that their equipment has been chosen.  When the installation is completed, MD Mark Tucker knows this project will add to the growing reputation of the Atlanta product range in the UK.

Mark adds that this is yet another example of the creative design ability of Atlanta Stretch as they build and develop their reputation with success around the world.Continuous development of the range now includes a double headed version of the Revolution machine. See the video.

He also reports that two more Atlanta Revolution rotary arm systems have recently been installed as part of complete OEM lines in Pepsi Cola plants in Pakistan and India, and a further 8 systems into Coca Cola Amatil in Australia and New Zealand.

These are just a few notable examples of the progress Atlanta Stretch are now making into the pallet stretch wrapping and pallet handling market.
